Ethnocentrism There's something up with our schools. I'm sick of all the ethnocentrism, all the USA pride and biased words. We're being brainwashed! I've heard kids say the damned Pledge of Allegiance every damn day for 11 damn years! I don't even know how long ago I stopped. Maybe it was in the sixth grade when I read "The Giver" by Lois Lowery. I'm still waiting to be "released" so I can just go live in another damn country. Just. Not. Here. It makes me sick, it really does. Our system of government is failing, but they talk about the recession like it's over and done with. It's not!! It hasn't been over since the 1920's! His muscles tense

He hears her muted
Footfalls, sees the lithe
Body weaving around the
Great watching trees of
Their ancient forest.

Around the opera house
Of Mother Nature.
Until, flower by

They cascade to
Endless whirlpools.

Clowns
They see her
Beauty, the artist's

Forced movements
